Beyond the Beverage

CBA members are acting as a force for good in their communities by investing in people. The non-alcoholic beverage sector emphasizes equal opportunities for everyone and uses their voice and action to make a real difference. When consumers are seeking refreshment, they should look beyond the beverage to understand the impact of the sector.

The Canadian beverage sector has a long history of volunteer initiatives, community sponsorship, and donating and distributing emergency supplies in times of crisis. We’re proud of the impact that CBA members continue to make across Canada.

Strengthening our communities

The Canadian beverage industry is a major economic driver, creating good paying, family-supporting jobs in the communities they operate in while supporting local businesses and neighbours.

Giving Back

Our members are rooted in volunteerism, and support various community-based, provincial, and national organizations. After a day of work keeping Canadians hydrated, Canada’s beverage companies still find time to show up and give back.

Supporting our Neighbours

When it’s needed most, our member companies are there for their communities to help however they can. This includes in times of natural disaster, such as flooding, extreme weather and wildfires, or even a global pandemic.

Creating a sustainable future

Together, we’re working to keep waste out of our environment and in the circular economy. From protecting watersheds to supporting litter clean-ups, we’re working to protect and preserve our planet.
