The Canadian Beverage Association welcomes Premier Ford’s leadership in exploring new ways to advance progress in the circular economy with the non-alcoholic beverage sector. Improving the recovery and recycling of valuable material, including plastic and aluminum beverage containers, will help build a more efficient and resilient recycling system, support local manufacturing, and create good, well-paying jobs across Ontario.
The non-alcoholic beverage sector is proud to contribute to a strong and competitive Ontario manufacturing industry that aims to keep high-value materials circulating in the economy. By improving recovery systems and investing in domestic capacity, Ontario will make a meaningful step toward a more resilient, efficient, and sustainable future. The CBA and its members look forward to working with government and industry partners to advance these goals and ensure that Ontario remains a leader in circular innovation and responsible resource management.
